Luke 2:52…and Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men…

The concept for our children’s ministry is taken from the principles gleaned from the life of Jesus. The Bible says Jesus, grew up “in wisdom, stature and favor with God and man. As parents and leaders, we believe it is our awesome responsibility to lead our children. Based on this verse, we have divided a child’s spiritual growth into three categories: wisdom, faith and friendship. We have determined that three specific issues are critical to helping a child become a healthy believer:

1. The ability to make wise decisions based on the truth of scripture.

2. A willingness to put their faith in God through every situation of life.

3. Their demonstration of love and kindness to the people in their world.

These concepts have been crafted into concise statements that we use to challenge parents and leaders.

We want our pre-schoolers to walk away knowing that:

God made me

God loves me

Jesus wants to be my friend forever

We want our elementary children to know:

I need to do the wise thing

I can trust God no matter what

I should treat others the way I want to be treated
